As runner up, STRABAG Property and Facility Services scored a top position in the Lünendonk list of Germany’s leading facility management companies this year. The company thus managed to consolidate its place among the “big five” on the 2009 Lünendonk list, which is sorted by domestic turnover.

There have been various changes in this year’s list, which the Lünendonk GmbH information and communication firm presented in early June 2009. For one thing, Bilfinger Berger Facility Services took the lead for the first time. Next in line was STRABAG Property and Facility Services with a domestic turnover of 881.2 million Euros, followed by the Dussmann Group, Wisag Service Holding, and Hochtief Facility Management, in this order.

The 25 leading FM companies determined by the Lünendonk analysts, that is, the companies that reported the highest turnover in infrastructure and technical services in Germany in 2008 and that generated at least two thirds of their turnover through FM services, grew by an average of 12.5 percent in the past financial year.

The comprehensive 2009 Lünendonk survey included 88 facility management service providers.
