In the fall of 2002, the Corporate Governance Initiative of the German Real Estate Industry (“Initiative Corporate Governance der deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft e.V.“) was launched as non-profit organisation. Leading real estate companies have since joined the initiative. The initiative has set itself the goal to develop and endorse the principles of transparent and professional corporate management within the real estate industry. True to this goal, the initiative has already achieved various important results since its inception. For instance, it articulated and ratified the “Principles of Proper and Fair Management in the Real Estate Economy.” These guidelines place industry members under the obligation to give particular consideration to ideals such as professionalism and transparency.

Competent, dedicated, and entrepreneurially minded employees represent a key success factor for STRABAG Property and Facility Services. The corporate SERVICE guideline for leadership and cooperation forms the basis of all company decisions and define the day-to-day business at STRABAG Property and Facility Services.

In accordance with section 52 GmbHG on the introduction of a gender quota and taking into account the current mandates, the supervisory board of STRABAG Property and Facility Services has set the following targets in September 2017 to be met by 30 June 2021.

Supervisory board: at least 25 %
Management: 25 %
Division heads: 15 %
Department heads: 22 %

The actual gender quota as of October 31, 2018:
Supervisory board: 17 %
Management: 25 %
Division heads: 13 %
Department heads: 19 %
