STRABAG PFS manages E.ON headquarters

Frankfurt, 8.12.2022 E.ON SE has commissioned STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) with the technical facility management for its headquarters in Essen and other locations in Germany. The corresponding service contracts with a term of four years and an option to extend were signed in mid-August. The contract was awarded following a Germany-wide invitation to tender, in which STRABAG PFS impressed with its offer.

The E.ON headquarters, a 15-storey building on Brüsseler Platz in Essen with a net floor area of 120,000 square meters, is a technically extremely demanding property. The building is equipped with digitalized building management systems, three combined heat and power plants and photovoltaic systems for its own energy supply. The contract also includes other buildings, such as a restaurant for E.ON employees on Lake Baldeney. E.ON is a long-standing customer of STRABAG PFS, which already manages several locations in Hanover, a data center and around 60 locations of Bayernwerk, a subsidiary of E.ON.
