STRABAG PFS strengthens market presence in Austria by acquiring the Kagerer Group

STRABAG PFS acquires 100% of the Kagerer Group and strengthens its market position as a building solutions provider in Austria.
Vienna, Frankfurt am Main, 9 October 2025
On 2 October 2025, STRABAG Property and Facility Services GmbH (STRABAG PFS) signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Elektro-Kagerer GmbH & Co. KG and Kagerer Services GmbH. The acquisition will take effect retroactively from 1 March 2025. This move will enable STRABAG PFS to expand its service portfolio in the field of building technology in a targeted manner and strengthen its market position as a building solutions provider in Austria. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The Kagerer Group is a long-established company with over 120 employees and annual sales of around € 23 million. It specialises in electrical engineering, IT infrastructure solutions, photovoltaic systems and technical maintenance and servicing. With locations in Pasching and Vienna and a broad customer base in commercial and residential construction, the group is one of the leading building services providers in the region.

The integration of Kagerer into the STRABAG PFS Group will preserve jobs. Employees will benefit from new development opportunities and extensive training programmes within the STRABAG Group. Customers of the Kagerer Group will benefit from an expanded range of services and the digitalised business processes of the STRABAG PFS Group.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2025
