Merger of Bockholdt into STRABAG PFS completed

Bockholdt GmbH was merged into STRABAG Property and Facility Services GmbH (STRABAG PFS) on 7 August 2025. This step completes the strategic integration of the North German cleaning services provider, which STRABAG PFS acquired in December 2022. One of the largest employers in northern Germany, with 13 locations and around 3,600 employees, will now operate under the unified name STRABAG PFS.
 
The merger is an important step in the strategic development of STRABAG PFS as a building solutions provider for integrated facility services and building technology services under one strong brand. 
 
"Expanding our core business and strengthening our presence at additional locations are key components of our corporate strategy. Offering services from a single source enables us to integrate our services more efficiently and deliver them in the high quality our customers have come to expect," emphasises Dr Marion Henschel, Chairwoman of the Management Board of the STRABAG PFS Group.
 
The merger of Bockholdt into STRABAG PFS creates clarity and trust among customers and employees. Uniform working conditions and integrated processes ensure greater efficiency and facilitate cross-location cooperation. "This step will benefit employees by offering them expanded development opportunities and a stable, future-oriented working environment," adds Dr. Henschel. All jobs and locations of the former Bockholdt will be retained in their entirety.
