STRABAG PFS takes over technical operations for seven federal sites in Berlin
New contract for the operation and maintenance of facilities for the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).
Frankfurt, 14 October 2026
The Federal Agency for Real Estate Management (BImA) has commissioned STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) to provide technical facility management for the Berlin offices of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).
The contract covers technical services for a total of seven Berlin sites with a combined floor area of more than 60,000 square metres, including, for example, the building on the historic site in Stresemannstraße, completed in 2011, which is used by the BMUKN. STRABAG PFS will thus assume responsibility for the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of building services systems, including fault management, which is ensured by a 24/7 on-call service.
